CEO Francois Byrne stated that this order represents a significant step in expanding the company's footprint into public safety and defense sectors. Following successful completion of the trial and the customer's internal approval processes, this engagement may lead to a follow-on purchase program of up to approximately 500-600 units over the next 18 months.
The customer develops advanced technology platforms including body-worn cameras, in-car video systems, and cloud-based evidence management tools designed to enhance safety and operational efficiency for law enforcement, military, and other public safety organizations. The Batt Pack Energy provides robust power delivery in a compact, rugged design, making it suitable for powering sensitive electronics and extended field deployments where quiet and low-emission performance are priorities. Canadian manufacturing and a robust supply chain were essential factors in the customer's purchasing decision.
